In business for many years, Rabl Winery traces back to 1750 when it was a traditional mixed farm in Austria. Wine was first sold over 100 years ago in wooden wine barrels to local innkeepers.  In 1986 Rudolf (Rudi) Rabl joined his father and expanded the winery from 2 to 80 hectares of privately owned, estate vineyards. 

Clearsips’ Co-Founder, David Thompson, discovered the Rabl Winery over 20 years ago and was immediately impressed with Rudi’s wine making skills. Rudi won the White Wine Trophy in 2019 and 2021 at the International Wine and Spirits competition in London, England. He is a renowned wine maker and brings to us, his Verjus Spritz.
