Liberated from alcohol does not only describe the removal of the substances, it also describes the liberation from our drinking culture. Liberation from norms and the preconceived notion that alcohol is an integral part of celebratory occasions. Liberation is the ability to choose between with or without alcohol. Liberation is a desired outcome of democratization which is exactly what we intend to do with the dinner table.

Process:

Harvested in 2020 and made from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre & Carignan, creating layers in the wine with different complexities

All-natural colour. No additives, no artificial colours or aromas. Just as nature intended. Matured for up to 12 months and liberated from alcohol using a unique, patented method that preserves the wine’s flavours and aromas.

Tasting Notes: 

Oddbird GSM is a silky, mature, dry red wine from Saint-Chinian in the South of France. The wine is characterized by its acidity and earthy notes with fruity touches. Expect red and black fruits and a sharp tannic entrance, followed by more matured fruits and spices and a nice dry finish. 

Best Enjoyed:

Paired with charred meats, mushrooms, or hard cheeses.

With or Without

Moa Gürbüzer founded Oddbird with a vision to question and change the alcohol norms of society. She wanted the question “Do you want your wine with or without alcohol?” to be as common as “Do you want your coffee with or without milk?”
