Process:
Monday Whiskey is handcrafted in small batches by an award-winning Bourbon maker.
Tasting Notes: Dark rich colour like a Tennessee whiskey, the nose is rich with oak, vanilla, cocoa, and baking spices. On the palate - coffee and cocoa forward, spicy with a little burn from the baking spices, rich and velvety finish. It tastes rounder and more mellowed when tasted over ice.
With sparkling water - super rich and vanilla-forward, velvety finish. Drinks like rye and soda, with the spice element lingering after each sip.
Best Enjoyed: Perfect for rich booze-forward cocktails like an old-fashioned, whiskey sour, or a whiskey and cola.
Free of Alcohol, Full of Spirit
Like Monday's spirits, Founder Chris Boyd is boldly looking to shake-up cocktail culture. The idea was inspired by a night out with some gin.
Doesn't particularly taste like Whiskey. More like (flat) Diet Coke and ginger beer 50/50. Appreciate the use of ginger for the sharper spicy finish to simulate the alcohol heat. Gets lost in a cocktail, and not particularly tastey on its own.
